A Little Bit More About Me

It' been quite a journey folks. I have learned so much over the past couple of months. Most nights, I spend hours on end trying to perfect on  technical things like embedding links, uploading a legitimate inspiration board, crediting relevant parties, getting more than 3 followers, surfing the net for inspiration.... the list is endless. However, there are some days, like today, that I am lacking in inspiration.. But then I look at my blog stats showing I've had visitors from all over the world. I look at my 2 year old daughter hiding underneath the stairs and helping herself to my vampire red nail polish ~ I think to myself why don't you say something about yourself.

Aside from blogging, I work for a leading global media organisation as a Business Development Consultant. Nice little title for Sales Agent as I get to work from the comfort of my own home. I totally enjoy the flexibility that such an opportunity brings to my current arrangement, with the bonus of spending more time with my kids. Sometimes I do miss city life, dispensable cash, high street fashion recklessness~ a notion for irrelevant or closet shopping and ultimate selfish foodie moments. Am I really missing out on anything though?

My father will agree that I have totally wasted my life as none of the above for him will be regarded as a tangible career or skill.  I think such hopes were long gone when I decided to study languages at university..... not medicine or law! If you are of African descent, you'll totally understand where I am coming from. My mother thinks I have totally lost it!.

So here I am being a wedding blogger amongst many other trades. I also have the most important job in the world.... I am a mummy. I know some of my readers are yet to have children, so I'll show you the glamorous side to motherhood. The rest I'd leave to experience. This is a snippet of my son and his friends on a day out. I also have a daughter who is 2 going on 27, but I have some reservations on posting her pictures up on my blog without her consent!

So take a look at my simple life~ I do have a dream and though it seems very silly now, I will work day and night towards it !

Rule no 1~Always act cool in front of the friends..

My son in the grey hooded jumper is as silly as his mummy. This is his cool friend who tells me his mother loved the store Reiss so much that he named him after it
