Royal Wedding news

Alexander McQueen's Spring Collection

Sarah Burton, the speculated royal wedding dress designer, showed off her Spring collection for Alexander McQueen's label at Paris La Concierge (a former prison) last night. This was where Marie Antoinette the disgraced queen was held and walked to her death.

Her collection, as expected included a wedding dress with over 500yards of hand-pleated chiffon forming the the train, with tulles and pearls and a bodice hand-embroidered in chiffon amongst others. She stated that "iced Queen" was her inspiration.

Who knows it might be Stella McCartney or Bruce Oldfield, but it certainly won't be John Galliano.
Here are some pictures of the Iced Queen collection via Style.
