Wedding Venue Decoration

OK, by now you would have come to the realisation that I refuse to jump on the bandwagon of the wedding industry's  definition of style. My obsession with weddings, began almost by accident. A cousin needed his  wedding venue decorated and he asked me to coordinate last minute.I insanely agreed, but luckily pulled it off as his guests were asking for my business card at the end of the occasion and he is still talking to me! I had a Forbes magazine moment almost immediately ~ a delusional mental state of grandeur from the millions I'll make as a wedding decorator. I managed to convince my husband decorating venues will be our escape from the financial Tsunami that loomed. He said yes just to shut me up.Serious mistakes were made with hardly any profit, but I just couldn't free my wedding possessed mind and the ideas that tormented me daily.

As  my addiction to weddings became more serious I realised I was better at being more consultative.

So I turned to the other man in my life~ my blog!!! I write this blog because  everyday someone cares to know what I am thinking, someone believes in me. The stats put a big smile on my hopeful face.Literally every one in my social circle is getting married and they are asking ME to help with bits and bobs. Most of my recommendations are followed up.

I want brides to believe in their own sense of style and hopefully with a little inspiration from AandR Party UK, throw amazing wedding parties and look good doing it regardless of their budget. I hope to feature the most fabulous vendors, creative DIY tips, wedding ideas, style and inspirations just for you x

So today,  I bring you inspiration from the very talented Hermes Window Design Director Leïla Menchari, who does all the displays at the flagship store in Champs- Elysees in Paris. These are last December's displays captured by a friend. Use this as a nice feature for the high table, sweetheart table whatever you call it!....... Instead of a floral display on the high table, adorn a large frame or mirror with gorgeous flowers as a beautiful backdrop and accesorise with complementary furniture. Great look for outdoorsy weddings, weddings in tents .......
