Makeup Trial

Every bride-to-be deserves to have at least one makeup trial ahead of their wedding day. It is essential to experiment with different looks to match different outfits or different  points of the big day, for instance a transition  from day to night look.

If you are not keen on makeup and prefer to do it yourself, do book an appointment with a leading high street makeup brand and go for a trial. The fact remains that you should not be pushed into anything you are uncomfortable with, so be clear on the look you are going for.

Although every bride wants to look the part,  it is worth sticking to a look that complements your personality.

A good Wedding Planner will shortlist vetted makeup artist based on  experience, client portfolio,  testimonials and how professional they appear.Prices should also be competitive.

Finally your brief and feedback should  be honest and to the point. Whatever you do always book that trial and see how you both get on.After all you'd be queen for the day and there is no excuse for not looking the part.

Here are a few examples from my clients:

Melissa on the other hand is not a makeup fan.I had to persuade her to have one  and I am glad she trusted my recommendation.  We ensured her makeup on the day was light and natural.
