Atinuke and Owoyemi's Lakeside Wedding in Dubai
This stunning destination wedding is set in the hidden gem that is Arabian Ranches. I scoured the whole of Dubai to find an unusual setting for an outdoor wedding.
When I came across such an idyllic setting I had to sell this idea to my clients, who were somewhat concerned about the weather. It took guts and some serious persuasion to also get the in -house Events Manager on side for restructuring the uneven turf by the lakeside
The weather in Dubai around December is ideal for an outdoor wedding. However, I ensured that the venue had a contingency plan in case the weather turned; so please make sure you go for a venue that offers the same. We lucked out on stunning weather and my clients had the wedding of their dreams.
I led on design and all the creative details including pashminas and pocket squares with gold embroidered initials, lounge area with 2 dozen cushions in the wedding colours, delicate fancy mini cakes alongside the wedding cake, personalised menu cards, outdoor bar etc.
I worked alongside the amazing Maren and team from MP Designs, Irina on flowers, Dubai's greatest DJ, and and some great vendors. And of course my bride stylishly arrived in a Rolls Royce Phantom.
This stylish lakeside wedding had an international guestlist with most travelling from the UK, Nigeria and the US.
