Wedding Colours~Blue and Pink Venue Styling

I had promised to focus on blue and pink colour inspiration this week and after hours of intense rummaging, I discovered some gorgeous interior designs via Marie Claire Maison. Those that are guaranteed to send your creative pulses racing.

I shall attempt to do 2 inspirational looks, the first romantic and then Bollywood.


Romantic
This shows how you can use lighting to transform your venue and get huey hints of blue and pink

The Bollywood Look

If you are truly serious about going for blue and pink look add some ethnic twist to it to make it more stylish. 

• Get silver bowls or trays and fill them in with pink freeze dried petals
• Hire out some ethnic furniture like the blue stool in the photo and place on either side of the dancefloor
• Throw oversized ethnic cushions right round the walls of the room / on the edge of the dance floor. Great cost effective Asian / Arabian inspired fabric can be sourced and sewn in Southall, West London
• Suspend foiled balloons with  coordinating thin  ribbon dangling midway
• In lieu of the Dancefloor you can throw a Persian rug and pile cushions in the centre
