I am so excited, I can hardly get my fat little fingers to hit the right key on my keypad. Today we are focusing on another talented photographer that understands the meaning of capturing the best moments of the day. Quite often, I go through wedding pictures and I just see lots of staged poses. Ideally, what I believe a wedding photographer should do is to replicate the story of the big day in images. A good analogy to explain this is a film. The married couple should undeniably be the lead characters and
Eliza Claire totally gets that.
She uses an effective technique of fading out everything else and focusing on the things she chooses to highlight. So whether she wants to showcase a hairpiece or a table name she does so in her style of photographing.
So as I go through the breathtaking pictures of Jaminie and Nilan I see exactly what Eliza Claire is trying to achieve. To ease the bride into a whole day of intensive photographing, she initially takes lots of playful shots as the bride gets ready. By the time she gets down to a frenzy of shots, it's almost as if by magic Eliza Claire disappears behind the camera and the bride forgets she is being photographed.
She steals genuine facial expressions, captures detailing as well as travels from venue to venue through images. I am sure Jaminie and Nilan look back in admiration at all their efforts in organising the start of a major chapter in their lives. The flowers, the beautiful wedding cake devoured by guests, the amazing classic car, the stunning bridal gown, venue styling and personal touches are all caught in images and kept alive forever. Eliza's tells the story of your wedding from beginning to end. To find out more or book Eliza Claire go
