Just the other day, I was working on a wedding budget. As you do, I searched for areas to cut down on cost and I found a few. The first item I thought of was flowers because it is officially SPRINGTIME!!!!!It would cost a lot less if one were to buy from a flower market, Covent Garden  flower Market, Vauxhall per say, that is if you reside in London,  and  indulge in some creative DIY. The trick is to go for the home made look, you know a bit rustic and personal; almost as if the flowers have been plucked from your very own garden. Remember to include an ample amount of foliage  and in season flowers.

Alternatively, you could get some keen college students specialising in floristry to conjure up some beautiful arrangements for your centrepieces at a fraction of the cost.

Remember to personalise your wedding by using pretty little jars, vases or Victorian teacups again channelling the "Home made floral arrangements"style. It really does pull the whole look together and remember to buy the option that will most complement your wedding venue.

Here, we see some "Golden Ducat" narcissus in an orange pretty jar and  some "Lucky Strike" tulips. Remember that Spring is here and this season lends itself to producing some of the prettiest, colourful and beautiful fragrant flowers.

Hope this helps.

Love,
Rugie.
