The Ideal Master of Ceremony
Had coffee with one of my brides the other day and we were reviewing booked suppliers..As you do , we overstretched the convo to the importance of a charismatic Master of Ceremony.
With the client's guests in mind I suggested someone as witty and funny as Ebuka Obi-Uchendu who was the Master of Ceremony at the most recent wedding I planned at The H Hotel in Dubai.
I animatedly re-enacted the bridal entrance with details of how he encouraged the bride and groom to do a dance off, kept the speeches moving and politely communicated with me throughout the wedding reception programme.May I add that his timing was on point and he looked the part.
Ebuka Obi‑Uchendu is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality.
So I suggest you choose someone that's all of the above! A close friend that fits the above profile could do nicely.
London based Alim Kamara is also very charismatic, witty and funny!

ReplyDeleteI am an event planner. I have done arrangements for several styles of weddings but I never got any chance to plan an African Wedding. I did some research on their regions and traditions. They are different from our wedding traditions. I really want to plan an African Wedding ceremony.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU. AFRICAN WEDDINGS ARE FUN!!!!
